Our group had the privilege to travel to DC and Gettysburg with Phil as our guide. We had an awesome experience, seeing all the highlights as well as some lesser known treasures!
Our trip to DC was one of the best and most memorable experiences I've had! We were able to experience places that most tours don't often see such as the White House and Senate dining room. The variety of our trip combined with Mr. Engelman's knowledge made this one trip of a lifetime.

American Panoramas (AP) made our trip happen and it was great! Mr. Engelman was amazing as a tour coordinator and guide. This was the very first time our school incorporated the DC trip into our middle school program and it couldn't have gone any better. From booking our flight to taking care of our lodging and meals and every detail of our itinerary, AP did it all. It certainly made our sponsors' jobs a lot easier.
The itinerary provided wonderful learning opportunities for our students. AP arranged group tours for the White House, Capitol building, set up a visit with our state representative, and even got our students to participate in the wreath laying ceremony for the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. We also visited several of the Smithsonian museums as well as the various monuments around town. Then, to close out our tour, AP arranged a few more activities for our group in New York City. There, we visited the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the 9/11 Memorial. Without any doubt, this will be an unforgettable experience for our students and the beginning of a new partnership for our school as we continue to take more students to our nation's capital in the future.

I am writing to recommend the services of Phil Engelman. Phil has been working with me for many years with group travel for students. His knowledge and attention to detail has aided in keeping the tours on a daily schedule. I feel confident in recommending Phil as a guided group travel leader. He is not only thorough but also easy to work with and always willing to take the time to discuss any concerns and responds to questions.

As a student of Mr. Engelman’s for many years, I had the privilege of going on multiple trips including multiple mission trips, a music ministry tour through several New England states and Canada, and a tour of Washington D.C. Those trips are the most memorable part of my high school experiences. Now, as a teacher and an avid traveler, I feel that I more fully appreciate the careful planning and research that went into each trip. Mr. Engelman’s attention to detail made the trips run smoothly, and his sense of adventure made each trip exciting as well as educational.

It was my very first and most insightful experience as a new immigrant to the United States. Mr. Engelman took our senior class to Washington DC. I was amazed by the plethora of things to see in the area. The museums are great places to sight see and learn of the history of the United States. Having had the chance to tour the White House was just another level of experience that’s beyond my words. The imagination of being able to walk in the rooms where the Presidents of the United States walked thrilled me as I walked from one room to the next. This is a must-do tour in the U.S.!

I tell everyone Washington DC with Phil is the best most organized and informative than any other trip I have been on. We went on that trip in 2011 and I am still in awe.
